At Paintboys Coatings your assigned supervisor will check surfaces after preparation and before application of coatings to achieve maximum adhesion once paint is applied. Preparation – It’s our first step towards quality assurance. 

The answer to this depends on a few factors, but generally, we allow for spot priming and two coats on previously painted surfaces. On new unpainted surfaces we strongly recommend a full primer coat followed by two topcoats.

Surfaces that are in a poor condition may require a 3 x coat system, extra preparation, or a more substantial coatings system. Our knowledge and experience with these factors will leave you with the peace of mind that the job will be done properly.

Paintboys Coatings holds no affiliation with any one paint supplier. We commonly use Haymes and Dulux paints and hold accounts with most paint brands. We've learned what works and what doesn’t. It is our knowledge and advice in this area that is invaluable to our clients. Whatever your choice, we only use premium level products and trusted products that produce reliable outcomes.

Paintboys Coatings deploys multiple project teams in Victoria and has the capability to be extremely responsive to client requirements. Depending on the size and nature of your project, we can generally have painters’ onsite within the week! We can then resource the project to meet your timeline.

There are multiple things we can do to determine paint colour and correct paint choice for your project. Colours can me matched where required. In addition, given our experience, we can provide the pros and cons of certain colour choices, light versus dark as an example.
